Sand, Salt and Mixture Spreaders Ensure Even Material Flow

Kasco Manufacturing offers HERD sand, salt and mixture spreaders in three power takeoff (PTO)-powered models. Each model features an agitator system that ensures an even flow of material and a powdered-coated hopper with 14-gauge material construction. Suitable to handle wet sand, dry sand, sand mixed with salt, sand mixed with calcium chloride, salt or chloride, more specifically:

• Model 5.5 can spread 275 pounds of sand in 1 minute, and the hopper can hold 550 pounds of wet sand or 5.5 cubic feet of material.
• Model 750S can hold 1,200 pounds of wet sand or 12 cubic feet of material. It is skid-steer-mounted with a hydraulic motor that can easily be hooked up with a flow valve to control the width of the spread from the operator seat.
• Model 1200S can hold 2,000 pounds of wet sand or 20 cubic feet of material.
