Takeuchi Names Southeast Regional Product Manger

David Caldwell, formerly Takeuchi’s national product manager, has transitioned to become Takeuchi's Southeast regional product manager.

In his new role, Caldwell will be responsible for all dealer and national rental account support activity within a multistate area spanning Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi. Caldwell will support dealer sales teams and their customers to demonstrate, promote and support the Takeuchi compact equipment product line. He will also work cross-functionally to complete new product road maps and discover new opportunities within the construction equipment market segment throughout the Southeast.   

Caldwell has been with Takeuchi-U.S. since August 2010, starting his career there as the company’s product and training manager specializing in compact excavators. He has served as the company’s national product manager since 2021 and will remain in that position until his transition to Southeast regional product manager. Massey Services Promotes Cannon Church 

Massey Services, a provider of pest and landscape services, promoted Cannon Church to senior director of strategic initiatives. Church will oversee the company’s acquisition due diligence and closings, corporate space planning, and Salesforce implementation.

Church began his career with Massey in 2012 when he joined the company as a commercial market and sales director. In 2017, he was promoted to director of strategic initiatives and was responsible for overseeing the implementation of the new enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system across the entire company. He also played a critical role in the development of Massey’s PCI compliance to ensure the security of the company’s payment transactions. 

Church graduated from Florida State University with his bachelor’s in liberal studies and earned his MBA from Rollins College, Crummer Graduate School of Business in 2007.

Ewing Adds SC Location

Ewing Outdoor Supply has grown its presence in South Carolina and has expanded its services for customers in the Charlotte Metropolitan Area with the acquisition of 360 Supply.

Ewing Rock Hill will serve contractors, school districts, golf courses, government agencies and homeowners in communities throughout the region.

The location is Ewing’s first bulk materials yard in the region and its fourth location in the state. It’s well-stocked with a large variety of quality decorative rock, soil, sand, mulch, screen fill, top soil, composted top soil, rough fill, aggregates and more. Ewing also operates six landscape supply stores in North Carolina, including North Charlotte, Pineville and Indian Trail, each within a short drive of Rock Hill.

“We’re excited that Yard Manager Michael Glosson, who grew up in Rock Hill, has stayed with Ewing after the acquisition,” said Ewing South Atlantic Division Vice President Jake Ray. “Michael’s knowledge of the area and his experience in management, sales and supply are a win for both Ewing and our customers, who know they can lean on us for everything they need to complete their jobs efficiently and profitably.”

Blingle! Names New VP, Brand Leader

Blingle!, an outdoor lighting franchise, promoted Nels Peterson to the position of vice president and brand leader.

Peterson carries 25-plus years of experience in the lighting industry. Peterson joined Blingle! in November of 2022 as the national senior director where he oversaw all field operations and national sales. In his new role, he will not only oversee all field operations, but will additionally serve as a resource for the franchisees across the nation.

In his new role, Nels will play a key role in the franchise development process. His responsibilities include approving new franchisees, guiding the onboarding process, leading franchisees through training and ongoing coaching once a franchisee opens.
