New Full Line of New Holland Mini Excavators

New Holland Construction unveiled its new full line of compact excavators, ranging from 1.7 to 6.0 metric tons, including the E17C, E26C, E33C, E37C, E57C and E60C. The company says all models are highlighted by:

• Extended-life components, liquid-cooled industrial Tier 4 Final-compliant diesel engines, an auto-shift traveling system and lower noise levels.
• An auto shift travel system that automatically downshifts when load is sensed to increase torque and upshifts once load is no longer sensed
• Auto-idling to automatically idle when the operator does not give input to the control handles and return to throttle setting when operator moves the stick.
• A variable undercarriage (on the E17C) that retracts for entry through tight egresses and then extends for stability.
• An engine start limit (ESL) system that requires a passcode to start the engine for anti-theft functionality and the ability to manually set the time between engine starts.
• A rail and interlocking-type track.
• A wide, spacious cab with an ergonomically designed suspension seat and adjustable arm rests to help reduce operator fatigue.
• Optimal ground clearance and dozer blade lift height.
• Easy access to engine compartment for daily checks.
• A convenient switch layout and an easy-to-read cluster.
• Optimal forward visibility through an excavator-style window and removable lower window.
• Retractable windows on the right side and rear mirrors on both sides to improve all-around visibility.
