Kioti Tractor Restructures Parts Warehouse for Better Service

The parts warehouse overhaul was done in an effort to improve efficiencies as well as provide better customer service.

Kioti Tractor has recently completed an extensive parts warehouse update. The overhaul was done in an effort to improve efficiencies as well as provide better customer service. Throughout 2013 work was done to redesign the warehouse and improve processing times. Investments were also made in stocking systems and packaging. Order processing time has improved 50%, leading to a better experience for the dealer and end-user.

Wanting to improve dealer support, Kioti Tractor assessed its parts warehouse and developed a strategy to restructure the system. The redesign allowed for the addition of approximately 5,000 new part locations. An investment in a carton-flow system more than doubled the capacity rate of parts shipped per day. New packaging materials do a better job of protecting goods during shipment.

“We are dedicated to helping our growing network of dealers achieve their revenue goals by offering excellent support,” said Rick Snyder, VP of sales and marketing of Daedong-USA, Inc., Kioti Tractor Division. “While doing a deep dive within our current system, we were able to pinpoint the necessary changes needed to help us better serve our dealers and ensure customer retention and loyalty. Kioti is committed to continuously improving parts processes through enhancements and new innovations.”
