What recession?

So a rock star equipment dealer from OK just called me. He wondered what I'm hearing from others in the industry as all he reads in the newspaper is more doom and gloom about the economy. He wondered if he's on another planet because his dealership is off to a record start this year. Perhaps he is on a different planet, but he does have some company. Plenty of dealers - and landscapers too - have been telling us about how well things are going. At the same time, others are really singing the blues. That could be the key this year:  strong companies with solid reputations are going to "repossess" market share from companies that are weak.
