Moving Up?

The Dow's up today. So are orders for manufactured goods (month of February). Housing starts and construction spending were both up in February too. Boy ... that's a string of positive economic news like we haven't had in a long time. If this positive momentum persists, what affect will this have on consumers? Will they finally loosen up and buy that badly needed mower? Will they think twice about cancelling their lawn service this year, or maybe that backyard renovation project they've been really wanting to do? We'll know soon enough.
