OTR Adds Global VP of Sales and Marketing

OTR Engineered Solutions (OTR) has named Ben Brown as its new global vice president sales and marketing OEM.

Brown will be a part of OTR’s executive team, reporting directly to President and CEO Tom Rizzi and will serve an integral role in developing the company’s strategic OEM partnerships.

“Our OEM partners are extremely important to OTR, and Ben is a great fit to help grow this area of our business,” Rizzi said. “We’re proud of the unmatched value we offer OEMs through custom engineering, global distribution, subassembly, and many other services. We’re excited for Ben to enhance this offering to our customers and to help drive OTR’s purpose of making our customers’ lives easier.”

In his new position, Brown will be responsible for growing the company’s OEM business globally across various markets, including construction, lawn and garden, powersports, agriculture, forestry, mining, material handling and specialty vehicles. To achieve this goal, he will leverage OTR’s 32 facilities worldwide. Additionally, he will build brand recognition through the execution of a detailed marketing plan.

Brown’s extensive experience includes senior leadership and executive positions in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. His accomplishments include growing revenue, driving new business and successfully managing teams for his past employers, among other responsibilities.

Weed Man to Bring New Territories in Seattle Area

Weed Man plans to add 25 new single territories and 12 double territories, to the Seattle market over the next five to seven years.

Weed Man is currently seeking qualified, single-unit and multiunit partners to take advantage of this opportunity to own a Weed Man franchise in the King County, Snohomish County and Pierce County area. The initial investment to open a Weed Man ranges from $80,535 for a single territory to $107,785 for a double territory.

SiteOne Purchases Paver Supplier

SiteOne Landscape Supply has acquired AC Florida Pavers, which does business as Hardscape.com, a wholesale distributor of hardscapes products that serves from four locations in Boca Raton, Ft. Myers, Tampa and Jupiter, Florida.

“Since its founding, Hardscape.com has established itself as the leader in outdoor porcelain pavers with exclusive rights to the premier line of Saxa Gres Italian porcelain products,” says Doug Black, chairman and CEO of SiteOne Landscape Supply. “The addition of Hardscape.com expands our ability to provide hardscapes products to our Florida customers and is a significant addition to our existing premium hardscapes offering nationally. We are excited to welcome the Hardscape.com team to the SiteOne family.”

This is the third acquisition in 2024 for SiteOne.
