Outdoor power equipment dealers gathered to celebrate Ideal Computer Systems’ 25th anniversary on Friday, October 29, during the 2010 GIE+EXPO. Ideal, which turned 25 on October 30, hosted a reception honoring dealers with cake, refreshments and prize giveaways.
Ideal President Dennis Haefner thanked dealers who have helped Ideal reach its 25-year milestone including Al Eden, owner of Eden’s Limited in Anamosa, IA. It was through Eden’s business that Haefner began to build the software system that is now used by thousands of Outdoor Power Equipment dealers throughout the United States and Canada.
“It has been an enjoyable experience helping so many dealers over the years,” said Haefner. “We plan on being there for our customers for another 25 years. I’d like to thank all of our customers for their support.”
Dealers in attendance were also entered to win prizes including a business-class laptop computer which was won by Nate Horsfall, an employee of Sohar’s All Seasons Mower Service in Macedonia, OH.
