Hustler Turf Equipment introduced new mowing deck technology, a new price-sensitive commercial mower and its next generation Super Z at a GIE+EXPO press conference on October 28.
The Hustler X-ONE is a commercial mower at an attractive price point without compromising quality and features. This mower updates the Hustler Z with proven components and Hustler’s new deck design (see VX4 below). Product is already being delivered to dealers across the U.S.
The Next Generation Super Z uses industrial-grade components while also featuring the new VX4 deck. Product should be available at Hustler dealers in January 2011.
VX4 Deck Technology features a larger tunnel in front of the blades, along with a wider discharge opening, to move grass through the deck faster, resulting in greater discharge dispersion. Higher air and grass volume throughput results in less material carried in the cutting chambers, allowing for higher ground speed without compromising cut quality.
Grass is also lifted better during cutting, resulting in an enhanced cut quality. And finally, an adjustable front inner wall allows deck performance to be optimized for all grass conditions and seasons.
