Michael Brown is the co-owner and director of sales for Weed Man of Arlington Heights, Cleveland, Merrillville-Valparaiso and Racine-Kenosha, Ill. Brown has 28 years in lawn care sales management, beginning with over 12 years with TruGreen as a Marketing Manager and other companies in restoration and home services. In 2015, Brown was hired by Weed Man lawn care. He went from an employee to part-owner, in larger part due to the unique company culture he was a part of building.
He developed and grew the brand presence in the Chicagoland area behind the brand mantra “Leave No Doubt (LND)”. Brown and the ownership team, all of whom have a variety of experiences in the green industry, built a mindset of LND by delivering on exceptional service to win over customers, generate positive reviews, and attract referrals. The ownership group prides itself to growing the company and developing and providing careers to like-minded individuals who are looking to win on a daily basis. Due to this dedication, they have been able to more than quadruple revenues in the past 5 years, going from $2.7 million to $11.5 million.
