Every year I leave GIE+EXPO feeling inspired and recharged. The energy at the show, and the conversations with attendees and distributors, both motivates and educates me. Attending the annual Green Industry tradeshow is not feasible for everyone, especially when the show remains in one location year after year. Those who wish to attend but cannot spend the time or money traveling to Louisville are left out.
But it’s important not to forget the value in networking and spending time with peers. Doing so can help you find solutions to common problems in the industry, recharge your attitude and improve your outlook. For those dealers and contractors who can’t manage to attend GIE+EXPO, there are several regional shows and other training and networking opportunities to consider. Green Industry Pros is sponsoring the Bob Clements International Dealer and Sales Boot Camps early next year. There are many opportunities out there for business owners and their staff to gain training, network and take steps to help increase their net worth. I encourage you to look for opportunities in your area regularly.
