As reported by ABC-7 out of Chicago, another landscaping truck was stolen—this time in the Gold Coast Historic District of Chicago.
Landscaping trailer and equipment thefts have become commonplace across the country. This recent heist in Chicago has a bit of a different twist, though.
Witnesses said the man was naked. He ultimately crashed the truck and then ran and dove into Lake Michigan.
First responders were able to pull him out, later transporting him to a hospital to get checked out.
LESSON #1: Don’t steal landscaping trailers.
LESSON #2: Never operate landscaping equipment in the nude. Always wear the necessary protective equipment such as ear and eye protection, gloves and shoes, and probably a clean pair of britches.
