Some homeowners say a central Iowa landscaping company took customers’ money before unexpectedly closing up shop.
William Bishop, owner of Bob Lenc Landscaping, is being sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars in unfinished services, according to court documents.
A customer said the services he paid for were over two weeks late. The company has since closed its doors.
“[It] upset me that I signed a contract, and obviously they knew that they were having some problems,” homeowner Terry Hicks said. “They took my money with no problem.”
