Fresh from unveiling the latest platform modifications with the Evolution Release, Aspire recently acquired Crew Control, a scheduling software application built for the needs of smaller lawncare and landscaping companies.
An intuitive, and flexible application that simplifies the scheduling process for these smaller contractors, the acquisition extends Aspire's reach to those smaller contractors within the green industry.
Traditionally, Apsire is considered an ideal solution for larger landscaping companies with more complex requirements. Crew Control is a separate scheduling solution built specifically for owner/operator companies running a smaller number of crews. It does not overlap with the Aspire platform in any way.
The anticipation is for the acquisition to lead to further expansion of development of new features for both platforms. From a personnel perspective, the Crew Control founders, David Vroblesky and Daniel Higgins, are respectively joining Aspire as product manager and senior developer and will focus exclusively on the future growth of the Crew Control solution.
“We’re thrilled to have David and Daniel join the Aspire family," said Mark Tipton, CEO of Aspire Software in a recent news release. "They’ve built an incredibly loyal customer base with their Crew Control application, and we believe this acquisition will extend Aspire’s reputation for quality and innovation to smaller operators who are typically not a good match for the Aspire business management system. Unlike other competitor solutions built for this market, new Crew Control customers can be up and running within a matter of hours—not weeks or months.”
In addition to acquiring Crew Control, Aspire recently announced the latest modification to its user interface. Referred by the company as the Evolution Release, the updates provides a new look and feel to the platform while also improving the system's usability for a more seamless user experience.
Enhancements with Evolution include: modernized look and feel; steam-lined navigation; enhanced dashboard; optimized scheduling with single-click actions; improved time entry; and a resource center.
