JP Carlton's 1712 is a 12" disk-style wood chipper that's towable by smaller pickup trucks.
• Weighs 5,400 pounds and is highly maneuverable in tight places
• 48" x 28" infeed opening allows it to swallow tops with little or no trimming
• 10-1/2" diameter feed rollers accept the wood with minimal wrapping
• 32-cubic-inch displacement hydraulic feed motors provide the power to pull and collapse limbs and tops
• Live hydraulics run the hydraulic pump directly off an integral engine plug-in, minimizing maintenance as there is no pump belt to maintain and no side loading of the pump shaft
• A digital adjustable autofeed monitors engine RPM; this system has the ability to start and stop the feed of the material into the chipper automatically based on parameters set by the operator
