Keeton Baste didn’t believe at first what happened when he learned about a bold and brazen crime at a Yukon, Oklahoma, storage facility: “I second-guessed myself, maybe thinking I left it at my friend’s house, my house, my parents’ house,” he said. “It’s upsetting.”

The victim said the thieves busted two locks on the door to get to his stuff, then drove around and cut a cable at a gate at the All Storage facility near 66th Street and Sarah Road before driving off with more than $30,000 worth of lawn equipment.

Surveillance footage shows a truck speeding to get through the gate before it closes, forcing it back open. Roughly an hour later, the same truck is seen leaving with a 24-foot trailer attached and inside was every piece of equipment Baste needs in order to work.

“It was a 24-foot V-nose car hauler that was full of two commercial-grade zero turns, three commercial-grade walk-behind mowers, as well as your handheld devices, edgers, weed eaters, blowers, rakes, shovels,” he said.
