The Snow & Ice Management Association’s 2020 Snow & Ice Symposium will now be a virtual event held August 26-28. Originally scheduled for dates in mid-June, the event was rescheduled due to ongoing health concerns related to COVID-19. The symposium is considered the signature event for SIMA and includes numerous educational opportunities and a trade show that offers views of the latest innovations in snow and ice removal equipment. In this special snow-covered episode of the Grass Roots podcast, SnowPro editor Ryan Whisner talks with SIMA Executive Director Martin Tirado about the challenges of organizing a virtual trade show and overall plans for this year’s symposium.
