Propane Popularity on the Rise

A series of seminars at GIE+EXPO will provide insight into how propane is fueling a growing number of tools used in lawn and garden and landscape applications, including zero turn mowers from Exmark and Cub Cadet, and commercial trucks from Ford and GMC.

A growing number of commercial lawn maintenance companies are transitioning to propane-fueled lawnmower fleets to secure sought-after cost and environmental benefits, as well as ease of refueling. With commercial mower models being offered by numerous top name brands, lawn care operators have a multitude of options to meet their needs. Adding to this growth trend, incentives exist through state partnerships for new propane-fueled mower acquisitions.

Lawn maintenance companies have also begun to go “all-propane” by transporting lawnmowers to and from customer sites with propane-fueled fleet trucks. This allows them to capitalize further on the benefits of propane-fueled equipment.

The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) makes it easy for GIE+EXPO attendees to learn more through a series of OEM-led seminars to be held in PERC’s booth (11198), along with an opportunity to examine propane-fueled equipment. The seminar schedule is still being finalized.
