All-Purpose Plow Is Equal Parts Snow Removal, Landscaping

SnowWolf redesigned the ProPlowFX all-purpose plow to work equally well for snow removal, and light dirt-moving or landscaping. The company says the attachment boasts:

• A semi-floating torsion system that provides built-in shock absorption and variable down pressure—from zero to full down pressure—on the blade; when an operator rolls the attachment plate forward or backward, the system either exerts down pressure or releases pressure from the blade’s cutting edge.
• Automatic oscillation that allows the attachment to rise or fall up to 5 inches on either end to follow the contours of the surface being plowed, scraping it clean.
• A blade with a reduced height of 27.5 inches, which ideal for smaller skid steers and compact tractors.
• The ability of the torsion system to flex to provide cushioning in the event of an obstacle strike.
• A trip-lock-out feature with the flexibility to adjust the tension on the trip mechanism for three options—zero trip with the lock-out system, easy full trip with a two-spring configuration and medium-full trip with four springs.
• A moldboard with an aggressive curvature to enable live snow rolling for efficiency and the capability of the plow to angle 35 degrees for faster plowing with less trail off on the leading edge of the blade when angle plowing.
• A shorter blade-to-machine distance for greater maneuverability.
• Suitability for use with machines that weigh up to 8,000 pounds.
• Availability in 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-foot lengths.
