Tilly has announced the launch of its virtual Garden Coaching service on Friday, Aug. 6. The service offers personalized yard maintenance instruction and design advice during a monthly video chat with one of Tilly’s professional landscape designers.
Garden Coaching is perfect for any homeowner looking to better understand their yard, play a part in their yard maintenance, receive gardening guidance, ensure the success of a recent design-build project, or extend the life of past outdoor investments. Everything from seasonal advice to tackling specific landscape challenges can be addressed during each coaching session. The Garden Coaching service is offered to all homeowners, not just past Tilly clients.
The cost of the service is $30 a month (or $240 annually) for the Standard Service and includes a 30-minute video call walk about your property every month, on the spot monthly maintenance tips for the homeowner’s garden, design ideas for problematic areas in a yard, specific questions, concerns, and needs discussed, and a personal recording of each session for follow up reference.
The Premium Service is $60 a month ($480 annually) and includes a written call summary with task list and continued email access to your coach.
The service launch is a natural evolution for Tilly, the company that is known for customer service, and friendly approach to a simplified landscape design process.
“We realized many customers had built a relationship with their designer and were excited to share their progress, but they also wanted to continue to work with Tilly for maintenance advice, tips and the opportunity to talk about the evolution of their space,” said CEO and co-founder, Blythe Yost. “The gardening coach launch allows us to continue to accompany our clients on their journey and help them maintain and love their yards.”
Tilly’s Garden Coaches are landscape design professionals who have extensive training and education in the U.S. in landscape architecture as well as deep plant knowledge. Service users are paired with a designer who has worked in their area and understands the native plants and habitat.
The service is currently available in CT, DC, DE, IA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NY, MD, ME, MI, MN, OH, PA, TN, VA, VT, WI, WV with plans to expand.
The company also recently launched Landscape Support Services that act as the homeowner’s advocate while they navigate installing their Tilly plans. Scopes can include everything from value engineering, virtual spot checks, assistance with vetting contractors and much more.
