Two employees of Lawn Boys landscaping service of South Haven, Michigan, escaped injury after the truck they were driving in caught fire. The incident occurred at 11 a.m. on Indiana Avenue near Lyons Street in the city of South Haven.

Kenneth Antisdel said he and his work partner just finished a job and were on their way to another one when the horn in the vehicle suddenly went off. Antisdel then smelled and saw smoke coming up from beneath the front of the truck. He said he had only gone a block when the problem occurred. Worried, he stopped the vehicle and he and his partner quickly got out to examine the problem.

“When I got out to inspect it, flames shot out from under the hood.”

Antisdel then called 911.
