Shindaiwa has introduces seven professional grade chainsaws for 2016. Shindaiwa says the lineup includes professional-grade features, outstanding performance and long-lasting durability for the harshest conditions. The chainsaws are designed with contractors and large landowners in mind. The seven saws are supported by a full Shindaiwa line of accessories, guide bars, replacement chain and oil/ lubricants.
The seven models are:
- The 358Ts top handle saw - designed to be an arborist top performer with comfort and balance, available in 14-inch and 16-inch bar lengths. Features include: a 35.8cc professional grade engine; ergonomic handle with palm rest; spring assisted starting system; automatic, adjustable clutch driven oiler; multi-rivet nose, tall profile professional bar; and professional grade chain with extended cutters.
- The 305s rear handle saw – lightweight and designed to be easy to use, available in a 14-inch bar length. Features include: a 30.5cc professional grade engine; tool-less air filter access; vibration reduction system; i-30 starting system; and an automatic clutch-driven oiler.
- The 340s rear handle saw – has the same features as the 305s but with increased power, available in a 16-inch bar length. Features include: 34cc professional grade engine; tool-less air filter access; vibration reduction system, i-30 starting system; and an automatic clutch-driven oiler.
- The 402s rear handle saw – Shindaiwa says this saw is best in class and loaded with professional features and outstanding power, available in a 18-inch bar length. Features include: 40.2cc professional grade engine; automotive-style pleated paper air filter; i-30 starting-system; an automatic, adjustable oiler; and a replaceable metal bumper spike.
- The 491s rear handle saw – lightweight design, available in 18-inch and 20-inch bar lengths. Features include: a 50.2cc professional grade engine; a professional-grade magnesium body; a premium rim sprocket; spring-assisted starting system; an automatic, adjustable clutch-driven oiler; and a replaceable, metal bumper spike.
- The 591 rear handle saw – built for cutting firewood, available in 18-inch and 20-inch bar lengths. Features include: 59.8cc professional grade engine; a professional-grade aluminum body; tool-less air filter access; an automatic, adjustable clutch-driven oiler; a decompression valve for easier starting and a translucent fuel tank for easy fuel level checks.
- The 600sx rear handle saw – Shindaiwa says this is a large displacement saw with powerful Performance Cutting System that will take care of any wood-cutting job, available in 20-inch, 24-inch and 27-inch bar lengths. Features include: 59.8cc professional grade engine with more power than the 591; a professional-grade aluminum body with a magnesium sprocket cover; tool less air filter access; replaceable sprocket nose bar; an automatic, adjustable clutch-driven oiler; and an aluminum handle with rubber grip.
