Bobcat Co. to Open New Manufacturing Facility
Bobcat Co. plans to expand its footprint with a new manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico, anticipated to begin production in early 2026.
The investment, planned for approximately $300 million, will expand Bobcat’s existing global footprint to create additional production capacity and manufacturing capabilities for select compact track and skid-steer loader models. The new facility is expected to create an additional 600 to 800 jobs in the region.
The 700,000-square-foot manufacturing facility is expected to increase Bobcat’s North American compact loader production capacity by 20 percent. The facility will feature areas for welding, painting and assembly, as well as an on-site warehouse and office space.
The Monterrey location will manufacture Bobcat M-Series compact loaders for North American distribution.
Envu Adds New Turf Professionals
Envu Turf & Ornamentals business is welcoming T.J. Ashachik, product manager for herbicides, and Brandon Ball, area sales manager for Florida, to the team.
With more than 10 years of experience, Ashachik has held a variety of roles in environmental science operations, marketing and customer engagement. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA from North Carolina State University.
Ball manages customer and distributor relationships for Envu in the golf and lawn and landscape segments in Central Florida. Ball brings a strong foundation of industry experience, having served as an assistant golf course superintendent at McArthur Golf Club for the past two years as well as various golf clubs throughout Florida.
K-Rain Adds Regional Sales Manager
K-Rain named Joseph Sadler as regional sales manager in the Texas region.
Working in a variety of sales management positions in the both the distributor and irrigation contractor sides of the business, Sadler brings both expertise and genuine passion to the table
Sadler will be actively promoting the use of K-Rain Intelligent Flow Technology irrigation products in his home state of Texas, as well as other states in the region.
Stellar Promotes Chad Rea to Director, Sales Demountables
Stellar Industries promoted Chad Rea to director of sales demountables, which include hooklifts and container carriers.
In his new position, Rea will play a pivotal role in leading the hooklift and container carrier sales team, overseeing its function and providing strategic direction to drive continued success.
Rea, who previously served as Stellar’s regional sales manager for the Midwest and Great Lakes regions, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to his new position. Since joining Stellar in January 2022, Rea has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a keen understanding of the industry. His responsibilities have included expanding the distributor network, supporting existing distributors and actively promoting the Stellar brand.
Ruppert Landscape Makes Adds to Staff
Ruppert Landscape promoted Paul Pestun to vice president of business development in the company’s landscape construction division.
Pestun holds a degree in landscape management from Montgomery College and is a platinum-level graduate of ABC's Leadership Development Program. He joined the company as an assistant field manager in 2012 with more than 10 years of landscape construction experience. After a few short months, he was promoted to the newly created position of assistant production manager and helped pilot that new level of management in the division.
In 2014, he was promoted to business developer in the national landscape construction branch, during which time he developed sales opportunities in markets where Ruppert did not have a permanent physical presence. The following year, he was promoted to director of business development for the construction division, in which capacity he has collaborated closely with sales teams across various landscape construction branches, unifying sales efforts and ensuring consistency in approach. He also took charge of market research and cultivating strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as owners, developers, general contractors, and landscape architects. His newest position will be an expansion of these responsibilities, with an added focus on strategic planning and financial analysis.
Ruppert Landscape also added Jeff Mullen as director of mergers and acquisitions and strategic finance.
Mullen brings more than 15 years of progressive experience in the financial services industry.
Immediately prior to joining Ruppert, he served as senior vice president of investment banking with Jefferies, where he focused on executing M&A transactions. He holds a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
