Wright Mfg. says it has completely redesigned its Stander ZK stand-on mower from the ground up. Among the improvements are a roomier foot platform that is easier to step on and off, and a 5-gallon debris container. Other items of note include:
- Reinforced wheelie wheels and elastomer bumpers for progressive ride control to help the mower hug the ground on all types of terrain
- Short overall length (67 or 69.5 inches) for enhanced maneuverability
- Push-button deck lift
- 25.5- or 27-hp Kawasaki engine
- 12.5-mph mowing speed
- Fully independent left/right hydro systems
- 52- or 61-inch Aero-Core deck
The Aero-Core deck features air-tapered surfaces that eliminate clumping, and its airflow stands grass up for a uniform cut. The deck is equipped with anti-scalp rollers for smooth, even results, even on varying terrain. Recessed caster wheels reduce the turning radius while the compact footprint improves maneuverability and reduces space required on a trailer.
Fleet managers will also like the redesigned Stander ZK, Wright assures. The only critical in-season maintenance points are engine oil and blades, and there are no grease fittings. The big 17.5-gallon fuel tank eliminates the need to carry extra gas, and the mower’s light weight and compact footprint make trailering multiple units easier.
