Similar to Dismiss turf herbicide, new Dismiss South herbicide offers fast, visible results against yellow nutsedge and green kyllinga. Yet Dismiss South is formulated with an additional active ingredient to deliver enhanced efficacy against purple nutsedge in one application on warm-season grasses (except St. Augustine grass). It attacks sedges through initial contact, but also penetrates the soil to stop tubers from germinating, which lowers future weed populations. Dismiss South is available in a 16-fluid ounce purple container.
