Dyna-Green, a lawn care company based in Willoughby, OH, has completed the acquisition of the Turf Magic Company. The combined company will provide service to nearly 4,000 residential and commercial customers in 13 Northeast Ohio counties and the border counties of western Pennsylvania from Erie to Pittsburgh with organic-based lawn care services, and tree and shrub protection programs.
“We were excited at the beginning of the year when we won two large multi-stop commercial contracts that would expand our service footprint into Pennsylvania,” says Chip Soltesz, owner and president of Dyna-Green. “But of course, the real excitement is the addition of Turf Magic. We are both successful family-owned and operated businesses, and taking care of our customers will remain our only priority. My friend, Larry Morgan at Turf Magic, decided to retire and I was his first choice in who to sell to. He wanted to make sure that not only would his loyal customer base be taken care of, but that his employees would continue to be treated like family.”
Since its founding in the 1990s, Dyna-Green has focused on building a solid reputation through its pioneering utilization of organic-based fertilizer.
“We want to give our customers the best possible service and value at extremely competitive prices through efficient routes, the best equipment, and leading edge organic-based programs,” Soltesz adds. “Additionally, transferring the collective knowledge of our very experienced management staff through expanded training will allow us to develop the best people as we grow.”
