The green industry continues to change and evolve, introducing new and unique challenges to the way landscape contractors manage their businesses and provide solutions to their customers. This speaker series is designed exclusively for green industry business owners striving to be leaders in the marketplace and navigate the uncertainty that a rapidly changing industry brings.
The speaker series can help landscape contractors:
- Discover key components to help measure preparedness, and plan for the future within the framework of milestones, trends and the current state of the industry.
- Learn how to segment, position and target the business that matters most.
- Build relationships with others who experience success in the green industry, and gather cutting-edge insights and strategies on growing the landscape contracting business, while maintaining a competitive advantage and reducing complexity.
The keynote speaker—Dan Stearns, Professor Emterius of landscape contracting at Penn State University and a National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) Trailblazer—has dedicated his professional career to enhancement of the exterior environment through quality landscape design, construction and stewardship. As a registered landscape architect, Stearns has practiced in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and North Carolina. Since 1989, he has focused on elevating the level of professionalism in the landscape industry as a professor at Penn State University, educating and preparing students to be productive and creative leaders in the green industry.
