In 2022, Doosan will introduce a new lineup of mini-excavators, including models not previously offered to customers in North America. The models will include conventional tailswing, reduced tailswing and zero tailswing configurations. And for the first time, the DoosanCONNECT Telematics management system will be available as standard equipment on each new model.
The 6,168-pound DX27Z-7 is a new size class for the North American lineup. The 24.7-horsepower unit has a maximum digging depth of 8 feet 8 inches, maximum digging reach (ground) of 14 feet 10 inches and a maximum loading height of 10 feet 1 inch.
It comes with a new rear view camera, a 3-foot 7-inch standard thumb-ready arm and an 11.8-inch rubber track undercarriage. At just 60 inches wide, it can fit in many confined jobsites. A second auxiliary hydraulics option is available.
The 24.7-horsepower DX35Z-7 has a zero tailswing design with a rounded shape to make it easier than ever to navigate on confined or crowded work sites. It weighs 8,807 pounds and has a maximum digging depth of 11 feet 4 inches and reach of 17 feet 9 inches, as well as greater lifting capacity and digging force. A large auxiliary hydraulic flow facilitates use of attachments. Other new features include a Doosan diesel engine, wider cabin and a high luminous LED lamp for improved visibility in low-light conditions. An enclosed cab, new heating and cooling system and 5.7-inch full-color LCD monitor are standard. Available options include a rear view camera, cast counterweight, second auxiliary hydraulics and long-arm design.
The 12,121 pound, 48.8-horsepower DX50Z-7 zero tailswing mini-excavator delivers an 11-feet, 5-inch maximum digging depth, a reach of 19 feet and a maximum loading height of 12 feet 6 inches. It has a standard enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning and is available with a heated adjustable seat for added operator comfort. A steel track option is available.
