The John Deere ZTrak 700 Series provides contractors with a productive machine in a less-expensive, and lower-featured model than the ZTrak PRO Series. Utilizing a similar steel channel frame and castings as those on the PRO Series, the Z700s feature the proven 7-Iron II mower deck with mowing speeds up to 10 mph and a 400-pound towing capacity.

  • Z710A ZTrak Mower: 48" or 54" deck, 23-hp gas-powered, air-cooled Kohler Command PRO engine
  • Z720A ZTrak Mower: 60" deck, 25-hp gas-powered, air-cooled Kohler Command PRO engine
  • Equipped with pneumatic front tires for a soft ride

Toro’s Turbo Force Deck features an adjustable baffle. Adjustments are made easy by the cam-style lever on top of the deck; just twist it around and hold it down. Three primary settings are offered: •A – short, light grass; dry conditions; for smaller clippings •B – use when bagging •C – tall, dense grass; wet conditions; lowers engine consumption; increased ground speed in heavy conditions “Contractors often mentally mark where they want to set it,” says Toro’s Edric Funk. “Many use a B+ position, but when the grass is a little wispy they may shift to an A-. The point is that, for different times of year and different mowing conditions, it’s important to have flexibility.”
