Ruppert Landscape has named Tom Barry as the new vice president of its landscape management division.
Barry joined the company in late 2014 as chief financial officer and has taken on this new role to better position the company and the division to deliver excellent quality and value to customers while creating additional opportunities for employees.
“Over the past few years, we have experienced significant growth in the landscape management division,” says Phil Key, president. “That fact, coupled with our plans for future growth, led us to search for a person to lead the division. Tom has been with Ruppert for just over a year in the role of CFO and has also been an integral member of Ruppert’s executive committee and influential in our future direction and strategy. With his background in real estate and property management, Tom brings a unique outside perspective, which will be a strong asset. In his year with Ruppert, he’s gained a sincere appreciation for our values and culture and we look forward to the contributions he will make in his new role.”
Barry will now oversee all aspects of the landscape management division, from business development to operations, across all 14 landscape management branch locations which employ over 800 people.
Ruppert Landscape, a family and employee-owned business, provides commercial landscape construction and management with 18 branches serving seven primary markets in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Richmond, Raleigh, Charlotte and Atlanta.
