EarthWay says its new Ev-N-Spred Flex-Select Series with SideSpred-Control is an ideal spreading unit when you need to keep material off of flower beds, sidewalks, driveways and patios.
SideSpred-Control eliminates the need for a side deflector, which can adversely affect application rate. Rather, a lever located on the back bottom of the hopper allows the operator to, on the fly, alter the spread pattern and prevent material from being discharged to the left. This allows operators to position the left wheel of the spreader right to the edge of beds and sidewalks, etc. for more efficient application. And once the operator is clear of the no-material area, he can flip the lever back to the full spread pattern position.
