SND900 Snow Melter

Snow Dragon says its SND900 is the company’s most popular snowmelter model designed for use at strip malls, parking lots, schools and stadium fields. This 9 million-BTU snowmelter is rated at melting 30 tons of snow per hour (based on the latent heat of ice). This model is a commercially rugged unit fabricated on a tri-axle trailer. It can be towed from site to site for multiple melting locations in a single night. Key features include:

• Measuring 27 feet long and less than 8.5 feet wide, it is capable of fitting in tight places
• 550-gallon fuel storage capacity
• Consumes 40-60 gallons of fuel per hour
