TGS 300 Tailgate Spreader

Boss Snowplow has introduced a spreader designed for SUVs and light-duty trucks: the TGS 300 Tailgate Spreader. Engineered to spread free-flowing ice-melting materials with ease, Boss says this spreader fills a need on the small size of the plow vehicle spectrum.

Mark Klossner, marketing director for Boss Snowplow, says there are several potential users of this new spreader. "It could be a person who owns their own business with a parking lot who needs an option for spreading salt. Or maybe it's a contractor who does some driveways."

According to Klossner, the TGS 300 is priced competitively with literally the same features as its bigger brothers: the TGS 600, 800 and 1100 Tailgate Spreaders. "The new TGS 300 also has a unique Material Saver System that stops small-diameter material from leaking through the auger area when the auger is not being used," Klossner adds. "This same system also provides a spread pattern that is smooth and consistent, something we are very proud of."
