SnowWolf recently unveiled that its UltraPlow and QuattroPlow Series snow plows are now available with an optional redesigned A-frame—the FlexFrame—that allows the plow to float up and down with the contours of a surface, while maintaining consistent, effective down pressure on the plowing surface. According to the company, its UltraPlow and QuattroPlow Series snow plows featuring FlexFrame technology further offer:
- A cutting edge that remains in full contact with the plowing surface without any input from the operator.
- A design that permits the plow to rise and fall with all the machine’s wheels riding on the ground, resulting in a cleaner surface and greater traction.
- The ability of the plow attachments to oscillate side to side to follow most surfaces.
- Semi-floating torsion technology that gives the operator the ability to apply variable down pressure on the blade—from zero up to as much as 1,500 foot-pounds by rolling the attachment plate forward or backward—exerting or releasing pressure from the blade’s cutting edge.
- Extra cushioning in the event of an obstacle strike and built-in shock absorption from the torsion system when traveling between projects.
