Snow Lion presents its loader-mounted ice-breaking and snow pack-removal system to eliminate pavement-bonded snow and ice in subzero temperatures. According to the company, features include:
- Independently suspended ice-breaking wheels at the front to pulverize packed snow and ice, so a series of shovels can collect fragments and direct them into an auger to convey unwanted remains to the side of the road.
- The flexibility to work on all hard surfaces, and operate in all temperatures, climates and conditions.
- The ability to completely contour to the road—even over bridge joints—so pavement remains preserved and intact.
- Independent height adjustment of individual wheels to permit for up to 6 inches of pack to be removed while matching the profile of the road.
- Speeds of up to 15 MPH.
- No need to modify the loader to which the system is mounted.
- The power to reduce or eliminate the use of chemicals and abrasives.
