Gravely's two most popular zero-turn mower platforms, the Pro-Turn 200 and 400 Series, now offer models powered by Kohler's 824cc EFI engine. Available in 29 and 33 horsepower, these mowers are designed to deliver “right-sized power” to increase productivity while significantly decreasing operating expenses.
With the Kohler 824 EFI engine, these mowers can achieve a 25% fuel savings vs. similar carbureted engines, translating to an annual savings of over $600 in gasoline for every 600 hours on every mower, according to Gravely's Bill Engler. Additionally, Engler adds, the 824 EFI engine's cooler operation means longer-lasting performance and lower maintenance costs. And with no carburetor, the chance of encountering starting problems is greatly reduced, even in colder weather.
Both the Pro-Turn 200 and 400 Series mowers are offered with cutting widths from 52 to 72 inches and Hydro-Gear ZT-5400 transmissions.
