This spring, homeowners hungry for yard care knowledge have been able to turn to the month-long Yard Smarts Hotline. Staffed by lawn, garden and equipment experts, the hotline is sponsored by Briggs & Stratton Corporation.
By visiting www.yardsmarts.com from April 15 to May 15, or by calling 1-866-YARD-TIPS, consumers have been able to ask their lawn care questions and get expert help. All hotline questions have been personally answered within 24 hours. On four Fridays during the hotline (April 15 and 29, May 6 and 13), homeowners can speak directly with lawn, garden and equipment experts from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. CT. Everyone who participates in the hotline by asking a question can also participate in a drawing to win a new lawn mower. T-shirts are also being given away randomly throughout the hotline.
