Arborjet Expands Sales Team

Arborjet is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its sales team. Lee Mangum, the southwest regional manager, and Dawn Ranchie Fluharty, the northwest regional manager, will support the company’s continued growth in the invasive pest management and plant health business across the western United States.

Invasive species such as the Gold Spotted Oak Borer, Mountain and Western Pine Beetle and Red Gum Lerp Psyllid have devastated urban forests across the western United States. Municipalities, landscape professionals and arborists are looking to Arborjet for pest management solutions including AzaSol, their powder-based Azadirachtin; the new sales team is in place to support this growth.

Mangum will focus his outreach in the Southern California market and in addition be responsible for Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and parts of Nevada. Lee holds a B.S. in Parks Administration and holds his applicators license. He has worked both as a sales professional and golf course superintendent, was the director for the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program at Audubon International ,and most recently operated his own landscaping business in Temecula, CA.

Fluharty will be heavily focused on the Northern California and Colorado markets and will also have responsibility for Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and parts of Nevada. She holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Horticulture Science and a minor in Soil Science. She has worked in nursery production and in sales as a key account manager for Wal-Mart and Lowe’s. Fluharty also held outside sales positions supporting Home Depot, Orchard Supply and Ace Home Centers.

“We are fortunate to be adding both of these individuals to the Arborjet team. Their skill sets complement each other and the team as a whole,” said Russ Davis, president and chief operating officer of Arborjet. “The commitment both Lee and Dawn have shown to their work makes me confident that they will deliver beyond expectations as we continue to build our business throughout the western United States.”
