Kohler Engines has enhanced its Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) Diagnostic Software with Bluetooth capability for fast and easy wireless access.
Kohler EFI Diagnostic Software is a troubleshooting tool designed to help service professionals accurately identify and solve EFI technical issues. Users now have streamlined access to the platform so they can quickly view engine data and other resources from a variety of devices, including laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
“Our EFI engine lineup is rapidly expanding due to strong marketplace response, so we wanted to also enhance our service and support capabilities,” said William Schnell, senior product manager for Kohler Engines. “By adding wireless connectivity to our EFI Diagnostic Software, we’re making the tool even easier to use and significantly more accessible for today’s busy service technicians. Of course, the people who make a living with our engines also benefit because the faster our dealers can get equipment back into operation, the more profitable a commercial user can be.”
Kohler EFI Diagnostic Software helps guide technicians through the diagnostic process and supports troubleshooting with multiple data display screens and graphs showing engine data logged by the engine control unit (ECU). Quick access to service manuals and fault code visibility helps users to accurately identify failures and reduce downtime. The software provides a variety of engine information including: operating conditions, total hours, oil temperatures, detailed load parameters, and much more.
The Bluetooth version of Kohler’s EFI Diagnostic Software is currently available for Android devices with additional versions anticipated soon.
