A new tracked mower out of Europe is designed for heavy work across difficult terrain or tackling thick vegetation growth on slopes.

Distributed by Inlon, the CiviLine HerbHy 40 is a big brother to the Spider, the first radio-controlled wheeled slope mower introduced into the Australian market back in 2007.

The Italian-made HerbHy 40 removes occupational health and safety concerns around traditional ride-on wheeled machines, with the remote controller’s graphic display giving the operator key machine data in real time.

Inlon product manager Glenn Dwyer said the company received its first model earlier in the year, and was undertaking testing and demonstrations.
