The Grasshopper SO26 Series of Stand-On mowers includes an adjustable Command Center, with 4.5 inches of vertical adjustment, and fits operators of all sizes while keeping switches, levers and controls at their fingertips. Additional features include a lower center of gravity thanks to the centralized location of the engine, T-Drive pump and dual fuel tanks. This provides optimal traction and stability. The antislip operator platform is situated between the drive tires to eliminate the “slingshot” effect resulting in increased operator comfort. This platform features shock-absorbent coil-spring suspension, giving the feeling of floating on air even while mowing the toughest terrain. An extra-wide and extra-thick pad further enhances all-day comfort. Available with a choice of 52- or 61-inch DuraMax decks, these compact mowers fit into tight spaces. Powered by an 810-cc, OHV B&S Vanguard engine, the SO26 Series of Stand-On mowers feature an incredible power-to-size ratio enabling them to handle the toughest mowing jobs. The EZ Deck Lift Lever provides effortless cutting height adjustment. Engine and transmission are mounted on the deck to eliminate damage to the drive belts or engine components. Dual fuel tanks with a total capacity of 9.25-gallons results in fewer fueling stops. A maximum speed of 9 mph enables the 61-inch version to mow up to 5.25 acres per hour.
