Diamond Mowers’ TR Boom Drum Mulcher is designed for municipal fleet or contractors faced with cutting, processing and eliminating vegetation in hard-to-reach places. Offered in 30- and 50-inch cutting widths, this new boom head comes equipped with a Rexroth 63-cc adjustable displacement hydraulic motor that provides enough torque to power through material up to 8 inches in diameter. Additional features include severe-duty bearings for additional strength, an abrasion-resistant AR 400 liner to minimize wear from debris, an optimized infeed system that produces aesthetically desirable chip sizes and a removable bolt-on door that contains and controls thrown chips better than chain guards. Engineered for more than 2,000 hours of annual use, the unit comes standard with Twin Chisel Planer Teeth but is compatible with any of Diamond’s three tooth options, which can be easily interchanged while maintaining drum balance. It also features Diamond’s innovative Q-Connect system, which enables a single operator to switch attachment heads with minimal time and effort.
