Polaris designed and purpose-built its PRO XD diesel-powered utility task vehicles (UTVs) for work—with the ability to withstand the tough duty cycles and usage on the jobsite. The company says these UTVs also provide:

  • A payload of 1,930 pounds and a towing capacity of 2,500 pounds.
  • Availability of the two-passenger PRO XD 2000D in either two-wheel or all-wheel drive, and the four-passenger PRO XD 4000D in all-wheel drive.
  • A durability driven by its Kubota industrial diesel engine, a rigid chassis design, a rust-free and dent-resistant composite bed large enough to fit a full-size pallet, sealed driveline components to resist corrosion, a reinforced seat base and heavy-duty seat material for a puncture- and tear-resistant seat, and 26-inch non-directional tires designed for puncture resistance and longer life on hard-packed surfaces.
  • Optimized uptime due to 200-hour engine maintenance intervals, improved vehicle fault alarms (for low oil pressure, parking brake engagement, belt burn and engine overheating) to notify users of potential issues that could cause serious damage to the vehicle, a relocated dipstick and air filter to facilitate service maintenance through side access without the need to raise the bed, and front air intake for clean air ingestion, improved air filter life and consistent engine power.
  • Safety thanks to orange seat belts and vehicle decals to improve vehicle visibility; a standard backup alarm, horn and parking brake; a speed limited to 26 MPH, with additional speed limiting capabilities down to 15 MPH; an engine braking system for slow descent down hills; the industry’s widest foot wells to easily enter and exit the vehicle; and a fully sealed cab to prevent dust ingestion.
