RoadGuard Plus 8

Tiger Calcium Services says snow removal contractors can use its RoadGuard Plus 8 to melt snow and ice on parking lots. While more expensive than rock salt, the company says this liquid product can be an effective tool in your snow and ice-fighting toolbox.

• 8% corrosion inhibitor in concentrated calcium chloride
• Can be used to pre-treat surfaces up to 10 days before a storm hits, or to pre-wet salt or sand
• Can reportedly melt snow and ice down to -49° F
• 85% less corrosive than rock salt and 5.3 times less corrosive than magnesium chloride, the company says
