It’s designed for felling, bucking, limbing and stump removal, it delivers power equivalent to a 70-cc gas-powered chainsaw and it is fully compatible with Milwaukee Tool’s M18 system.

The product was designed based on conversations that Milwaukee’s team had on various jobsites with tree care professionals, according to Teitler.
“Crews were demanding a truly capable, battery-powered chainsaw that didn’t force tradeoffs in power or run time,” Teitler says. “The release of Milwaukee’s M18 RedLithium Forge batteries created the opportunity to bring that vision to life—unlocking the next level of battery performance.”

Before using the product, professionals should keep in mind that the chainsaw requires two M18 batteries for operation—ideally two M18 RedLithium Forge XC8.0 batteries to unlock full performance potential.
