Proffitt's Lawn & Leisure LLC

Proffitt’s Lawn & Leisure, Ltd has been providing quality service to Amarillo and the surrounding area for over 60 years.  In 1970 Darrel & Frances Brogdon purchased the business hoping to add some extra income for the family.  Just a year later, Proffitt’s had grown to where Darrel had to quit his job as a fireman and join Frances full time.  Since then, the business has grown from a 1200 sq foot building to a new 18,000 sq foot building in south west Amarillo..  In 2006 Darrel and Frances officially retired and their son, three daughters, grandson, and granddaughter took over operations, however they are still active in decision making.  Proffitt’s also employs another grandson and approx. 15 other employees including three mechanics who have 45 combined years experience. 

Proffitt’s has always had a “service what we sell” policy.  Respectively, Proffitt’s stocks over 6500 different part numbers and over 500 different equipment models to choose from.  We also fill over 3000 special orders a year.  If we don’t have what you need, we usually can find it.

At Proffitt’s, we try to concentrate mainly on the brands we sell in order to provide better service and satisfaction to our customers; whether you are the commercial landscaper or the residential lawn enthusiast.
