Walk Your Plans has grown into a nationwide network serving a wide range of blueprint-driven industries. Landscape architects and designers are increasingly among them, using the technology to present outdoor projects.
Originally built for home builds, the immersive walkthrough technology was quick to discover that landscape architects had the same problems: wrong sightlines, cramped paths, features larger than expected, etc.
For landscape architects, that means walking clients through the real footprint of a pool, patio or deck before committing to it, testing paths and clearances at true scale instead of guessing off a plan, and positioning a firepit or water feature exactly where it belongs before it's permanent. Sightlines and privacy, often the hardest thing to judge from a rendering, become obvious the moment a client is standing in the space.
