The Turf and Ornamentals business of Bayer has reinstated Armada fungicide after feedback from the lawn care industry suggests that that it remains a valuable tool.
The broad-spectrum fungicide offers control for protection against a range of turf diseases such as dollar spot, brown patch, leaf spot, large patch, fairy ring, gray leaf spot and more. It also provides effective, systemic protection against tough landscape ornamental diseases, like Anthracnose, leaf spots, black spot, rust, powdery mildew, scab and more.
Armada fungicide protects against 16 of the toughest turf diseases with a residual of 21 to 28 days, and it can be safely applied to all major turf types when used as directed. Its effective control helps to reduce the need for carrying multiple products.
“Armada fungicide is effective and provides excellent value for lawn care companies,” said Dr. Brad Glenn, fungicide product manager for the U.S, Turf & Ornamentals business. “We appreciate our customers’ support and loyalty and hope they take advantage of this exclusive offer.”
Bayer had previously slated Armada for phase out.
“At Bayer, we strive every day to help make lawn care operators’ jobs easier as they work to give their clients beautiful, healthy lawns,” Glenn said. “We value our customers’ feedback and support and were happy to reinstate Armada in our portfolio. We’re also excited to reward customers with special pricing on this versatile product that protects against the toughest turf and ornamentals diseases.”
