As reported by the Houston Chronicle, two lawn care workers were shot while sitting in their truck during a rain delay outside a motel in southeast Houston. One died while the other was wounded.
Police said the suspects approached the truck and demanded the workers’ property. When the workers refused, the man pulled out a gun and shot them. The suspects left after the gunfire. The suspects are described only as being between 20 and 30 years old. The woman wore an orange dress.
