Mahindra Recalls 2,000+ Tractors

Fuel lines can break or leak, posing a fire hazard.

Mahindra USA of Houston, TX, has recalled more than 2,000 of its eMax compact diesel tractors designed for residential use. Model names are eMax 22G, eMax 22H and eMax 25H. They are red with a black seat.

Mahindra has received 61 reports of cracks in the fuel tank pipe. No injuries have been reported.

The tractors were sold at Mahindra dealerships throughout the United States and Canada from March 2014 through September 2015 for between $11,300 and $13,600.

The tractors were manufactured in Korea. About 2,000 units have been recalled in the U.S. in addition to about 100 in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the tractors and contact an authorized Mahindra dealer as soon as possible to schedule the free repair.
